Full payment covered by insurance
Note: ClinicSense does not offer direct billing.
- Select the appointment that you would like to add the payment for
- Click on the Invoice tab from the left menu
- Click on the Add Payment button
- Select Insurance for the "How is the client paying?" field
- Click the Pay button
Partial payment covered by insurance
- Select the appointment that you would like to add the payment for
- Click on the Invoice tab from the left menu
- Click on the Add Payment button
- Input the client's co-pay amount (what they are paying you today)
- Select the payment method they are using under the "How is the client paying?" field
- Click the Pay button
- Once the insurance payment has come through, re-open the invoice
- Click the Add Payment button
- Input the insurance payment amount
- Select Insurance under the "How is the client paying?" field
- Click the Pay button
