In order to ask clients to enter their credit card number (or to pre-pay) when booking an appointment online, you must have a merchant account with ClinicSense so that we can store the information securely and charge the credit card when required
Once you have a merchant account, you can ask clients to enter their credit card number (or pre-pay) when booking online by following these steps:
- Go to Setup > Scheduling Settings
- Select the Pre-Paid Appointments tab
- Indicate the deposit settings you'd like to use
Your pre-pay options:
- Pre-pay the entire amount
- Pre-pay a deposit
- No payment, but client enters their card number
- Don’t require pre-payment
You can then choose if you’d like to apply these settings to all clients or new clients only.
