Note: Whenever possible, the best practice is for each client to use a different email address. Multiple clients using the same email address can sometimes cause confusion. For example, clients might accidentally book appointments under the wrong file, without realizing it.
ClinicSense uses the client’s email address to identify them when booking online. There may be a case where two people in the same family want to use the same email address – this is especially common if you treat children.
You can indeed use the same email address for two clients. If the client is scheduling online, we will detect that the email address is in use by two clients and ask the client to enter the first name of the person to identify who they are booking an appointment for.
