How to redeem a treatment package


Redeeming a package for the original client and service

Treatment packages are available on the Standard and Premium plans. To redeem a treatment package in ClinicSense, follow these steps:

  1. On the invoice, if the service was part of the package purchased, you will see a switch for Apply Treatment Package

  2. Once that switch has been clicked, the unit price will be updated, the invoice will reflect as paid, and the count of treatment packages left will be reduced by one

  3. Click Save or Save & Close to complete the transaction

Using a treatment package on a service other than what it was purchased for

  1. On the invoice, select Add Payment

  2. In the Payment Method dropdown, select Redeem Package

  3. Make sure the client's name is correct and select the appropriate package.

  4. You'll now see the price & total have changed and the total is now $0.00.
    To complete the transaction, click Save or Save and Close

  5. You will be prompted to Apply the package to a service that is an exception.

Redeeming a package for another client

The process is similar to redeeming a package for a different service with two extra steps

 

  1. You'll notice that when you select Redeem Package you receive an error saying, "This client does not have any packages"

  2. Begin by:
    A. Typing in the name of the client whose package you want to use.
    B. Selecting the package you want to apply

  3. Once you've selected the client and package you can redeem the package and apply payment.
