How to temporarily pause your ClinicSense subscription

Before choosing to pause your account, it's important to understand the following:

  • The account can be unpaused at any time
  • Only account superusers can pause an account
  • The pause will begin at the end of your current billing cycle
  • Once you pause your account, ClinicSense will continue to host all of your data
  • You will have read-only access to everything within your account
  • This includes appointments, clients, client files, email communication history, financial information, gift certificates, treatment notes, and reports
  • New clients and appointments can't be added to a paused account
  • Paused subscriptions will be invoiced for $5 per month

Pausing an annual subscription

  1. Log into ClinicSense as your practice's superuser
  2. Click on your profile image at the top right corner
  3. Select Subscription from the drop-down menu
  4. Under Change billing frequency, select Monthly
  5. Click Save in the bottom right corner
  6. Your subscription will change to monthly
  7. A pro-rated credit for any remaining time will be added to your account
  8. The credit will be used to pay for any future invoices, including the paused plan

Pausing a monthly subscription

  1. Log into ClinicSense as your practice's superuser
  2. Click on your profile image at the top right corner
  3. Select Subscription from the drop-down menu
  4. Click the Pause Account option at the bottom right
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts
