What insurance companies will accept TELUS eClaims?
You can find a list of participating insurers in the TELUS Learning Corner.
Can each practitioner use their own TELUS login?
Yes! You can either connect to TELUS as a single organization or as multiple independent eClaims accounts. For multiple independent accounts, you’ll choose one practitioner’s account to link initially (here’s how), then you can connect each practitioner individually using a different TELUS login.
Can you submit secondary plans through the integration?
Only submit the claim to the patient’s primary insurer. Any secondary claims should be submitted manually by the patient. This is because secondary insurers require detailed information about how the primary claim was processed, and that level of detail isn’t available through the TELUS eClaims system.
How long will it take to get paid?
Using ClinicSense to submit your claims won’t affect how you get paid by insurance companies. You’ll still receive payments and statements directly from the insurers, just like you did when using the eClaims portal. For details on payment timelines and processes for each insurer, take a look at TELUS Health’s helpful Insurer Payment Guide.
