We refer to this as cleanup time. Cleanup time allows you to add time between appointments to clean up and collect payment. You can add cleanup time by following these steps:
- Click on Setup (in the top right corner)
- Then click on Services in the menu
- Select the service you would like to add cleanup time to
- Scroll down until you see the durations section
- Add cleanup time in minutes
- Click Save
Note: Cleanup time is not factored in at the end of the day.
For example:
- Let's say you have an appointment that is 60 minutes long with 15 minutes of cleanup time, for a total of 75 minutes.
- And let's say you have an available time slot from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. (with 5 p.m. being the end of your workday).
- In this case, we will allow the client to book the appointment since the appointment duration (60 minutes) fits within that time.
