How to connect practitioners to TELUS

Learn how to connect your practitioners to TELUS eClaims so they can submit insurance claims directly.


Instructions

  1. Go to Setup > Practitioners
  2. Select the practitioner you'd like to connect from the dropdown
  3. Click the TELUS eClaims tab
  4. Enable eClaims for this practitioner and fill in the required info (where to find required info)

  5. If the practitioner will be submitting claims with their own account (rather than the clinic's account), then fill in the additional required details:

Notes:

  • You need to link your account before connecting practitioners
  • Practitioners can only bill for services that match their Provider Role
    (e.g. a Chiropractor can’t bill for massage therapy)

Where to find required information within your TELUS account

First name and last name

  1. Log in to the TELUS eClaims portal
  2. Click the icon of the person in the top right corner to see your name as registered with TELUS

Provider role, licence issuer, licence ID, Telus provider ID

  1. Click the menu icon in the top right corner

  2. A menu will open, click on Providers
  3. Find the practitioner you are connecting and click Manage provider details
  4. You'll be able to find provider role, licence issuer, licence ID, Telus provider ID here:

User ID (if required)

  1. Click the icon of the person in the top right corner. Your user ID is under you name.

Password (if required)

  • Enter the same password you use to login to the Telus dashboard

Location ID (if required)

  1. Click the menu icon in the top right corner

  2. A menu will open, click on Business profile
  3. Your Location ID is in this section:
