If you'd like your ClinicSense appointments to appear in your personal calendar, you can subscribe to ClinicSense by following these steps:
Google Calendar
- Go to your Calendar
- Towards the top right, click the Options button
- This will open a drop-down menu. Click the Link to Personal Calendar button
- Select the practitioner whose schedule you'd like to subscribe to
- Choose if you'd like to have a 1-way sync (your ClinicSense appointments will appear in your Google calendar) or a 2-way sync (your ClinicSense appointments will appear in your Google calendar AND your Google calendar events will appear in your ClinicSense calendar)
- Click the Link Calendar button
- You will be directed to a Google Prompt to select and sign into your Google account
- Click the Allow button to sync your Google calendar
- You’ll be sent back to your ClinicSense page to select the calendar that you would like to import events from.
- Press Sync
- Click on Return to Calendar
- Finally, Google will send you an email to confirm the calendar subscription. Go to your email and click the Add this calendar link
This will take you to your Google Calendar, where you will have to click Add once again (and you may get a prompt from your browser where you have to select "Allow")
Other Calendars (e.g iCal, Outlook) - Get Your Subscription Link
- Go to your Calendar
- Towards the top right, click the Options button
- This will open a drop-down menu. Click the Link to Personal Calendar button
- Select the practitioner whose schedule you'd like to subscribe to.
- Under the "Which personal calendar are you linking to?" select Other
- Click the Copy Link button
Add subscription link to Calendar on Mac (iCal):
- Open Calendar on Mac
- In Calendar, click File from the menu bar
- Select New Calendar Subscription (or in older versions of Calendar choose Calendar > Subscribe)
- Paste the subscription link that you copied from ClinicSense
- Click Subscribe
- Enter a name for the calendar in the Name field, choose a color from the adjacent pop-up menu
- If you have an iCloud account, choose whether you want the calendar linked to your iCloud (this will make the calendar appear on your iPhone and iPad as well)
- Choose to auto-refresh every 15 minutes
- Click OK
Add subscription link to iPhone:
Before starting the steps below, email yourself the subscription link that you got above under Other Calendars (e.g iCal, Outlook) - Get Your Subscription Link. Then, from your phone, copy the link you emailed yourself.
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down and select Calendar
- Tap Accounts
- Tap Add Account
- Tap Other
- Tap Add Subscribed Calendar
- Paste the subscription link (including the final "/")
- Tap Next
- Change the Description to "My Appointments" (or whatever you want)
- Click Save
Add subscription link to Outlook (2010 or later):
- Open Microsoft Outlook and go to your calendar
- From the menu at the top choose Home > Open Calendar > From Internet
- Paste the subscription link that you copied from ClinicSense
- Click Ok
- On the next window, click Yes (or click Advanced to configure advanced settings)
- Go to your Calendar
