Step 2: Adding a practitioner to your ClinicSense practice


Add a new practitioner

  1. Go to Setup, and select Practitioners
  2. Click the Add Practitioner button
  3. Enter the practitioner’s name, then click Save

Note: Each subscription plan includes 1 practitioner. Additional practitioners are billed at $10 per month. You will not be charged for additional practitioners during your trial. Click here to view our pricing plans.


Complete practitioner profile

  1. Add the following to complete the practitioner profile:
    • Photo (.jpg, .jpeg or .png): It will be displayed for clients to see when booking online
    • License Number(s): It will be displayed on the practitioner’s treatment notes and invoices
    • Tax ID: It will be displayed on the practitioner’s invoices
    • Signature: Saving a signature will allow you to sign invoices and treatment notes at the click of a button

 


Set working hours

  1. Select the Hours tab
  2. Indicate the days and hours that the practitioner regularly works
  3. If the practitioner works a split shift (i.e 9am - 12pm & 3pm - 6pm), you can create a split shift by clicking the + icon.

Note: If at any time you need to change working hours for just one specific day, please refer to the Change your hours for one specific day guide.


Choose online scheduling settings

  1. Select the Online Scheduling tab
  2. Indicate if this practitioner allows clients to book online

Choose how to show online availability

  1. Select the Online Scheduling tab
  2. Choose how you would like to display your availability for online booking

In regular intervals (most common)

  • If you select in regular intervals, your next step is to choose at which intervals you’d like to display your availability
  • As appointments are booked, times will automatically become unavailable to subsequent clients booking online

At specific times

  • If you select at specific times, your next step is to choose the specific times you’d like to display your availability
  • This option allows you to choose the exact appointment start times that clients are allowed to book through online scheduling

Only immediately before or after an existing appointment

  • The first client will be able to book at any time during your working hours
  • Subsequent clients will only see available time slots immediately before or after booked appointments
  • This option prevents gaps in your day

Create a login for the practitioner

  1. Select the Account tab
  2. If you’ve added yourself as the practitioner, select This is me.
  3. Otherwise, select Allow practitioner to login
