Guide
- Canadian practices may need clients to sign Sensitive Area Consent forms
- The recommended approach is to automatically send the consent before every session
- Conveniently, automatic consents can be attached to treatment notes
- Alternatively, you can have the client to fill out the from while you're with them
- If you don't want the consent automatically sent but still want it linked to the note, you can edit the note template to add consent questions (i.e. these ones from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario)
Notes
- If you select a Canadian location when creating your practice, a consent template will be included in your Form builder
- When having the client fill out the from while you're with them, it's not possible to attach the completed consent to the treatment note
- If you add a consent section to your treatment note, you're allowed to leave it blank when you don't need it
